Academic recognition means assessment of the qualification value in terms of academic requirements, i. e., it is determined if qualification in general meets requirements set up for qualification in Lithuania in the contexts of academic background.
In Lithuania depending on the level of acquired education and the goal pursued, recognition of academic qualifications is conducted by the Center for Quality Assessment, https://www.skvc.lt/dafault/en/.
Professional recognition means assessment of qualification value in terms of professional requirements, i. e., it is determined if qualification in general meets requirements set up for certain professional activity in Lithuania.
