On September 26, 2019, National EQM Board repeatedly awarded the Center with the EQM Certificate No 01-2019 for the next three years and confirmed that Center of Excellence of Healthcare and Pharmacy Specialists satisfies requirements of the European Quality Mark for the quality of the informal education of adults.
On July 29, 2016, National EQM board represented by Lithuanian Association of Adult Education issued a Certificate No 01-2016 to the Center of Excellence of Healthcare and Pharmacy Specialists and confirmed that Center satisfies criteria of the European Quality Mark for the quality of the informal education of adults.
The EQM is a quality assurance mark for all providers of non-formal learning throughout Europe.
The EQM is applicable for all areas of non-formal training and learning.
The EQM is designed to help learning providers meet the emerging European and national requirements for quality.
The EQM supports quality development and quality assurance.
The European Quality mark defines four assessment areas and confirms compliance with following requirements:
- Management of training services: confirms that organizational structure of the institution, training management processes and resources (premises, equipment, learning materials, etc.) and training planning processes ensure quality of training services.
- Training needs and development of training programs: confirms that learning environment, professional competences of instructors (teachers), goals, content and methods of training programs meet needs and goals of customers (students).
- Assessment of learning achievements: confirms that procedures of the assessment of learning achievements and feedback with customers (students) are set in place.
- Quality management: confirm that proper institutional quality management procedures are set in place.
